Anglican Church Flood Appeal
While a public appeal has been launched by the state, this parish is taking an initiative and 'launching' a flood appeal to specifically assist the Anglican Parishes affected. These parishes will have extra costs and there will be a short term loss of income. Donations for Anglican Church Western Region Flood Appeal in the collection plate or direct debit to the parish.

The Honourable Justice Deborah Mullins - the Deputy Chancellor of the Brisbane Diocese will be in Toowoomba for 2 weeks presiding over our local District court. She has graciously agreed to be our Guest Speaker at a Combined Anglican Parishes Dinner to be held in the Parish Centre. She will speak on a variety of topics of a legal nature and take your questions. Tickets available from the Parish Office. Please purchase your tickets before the night to help with catering numbers.

Earthquake in Haiti
Please pray for the Bishop of Haiti, Bishop Jean Zache his clergy and people, all of whom have been impacted by this disaster in Haiti and for the Governments and organisations seeking help. Over 100,000 may be dead and 3 million will be impacted by the quake. For more information on the quake and how you can help go to www.abmission.org or www.anglicanbrisbane.org.au. The people of Haiti will need long term help.

There will be celebrations for St James' Day on July 24th when our guest preacher will be The Reverend Steven Ogden - the Principal of St Francis College. There are exciting developments with the growth of the college now that it is attached to a different university. 2010 will see the highest enrolment for many years
