Celebrate. Dedicate. Anticipate. In 2009 the Anglican Parish of Brisbane is celebrating 150years. There are many events scheduled throughout the diocese to mark this important occasion. The Anglican Parish of St James Toowoomba is also celebrating 140 years this year. A memorial booklet is being compiled and will be available for purchase at our Celebration service on the 15th of November 2009. The service will start at 8.30am and it will be celebrated with Bishop Rob Nolan officiating. To make the event 'come alive' for parishioners we are being asked to consider things we can celebrate every day or every week; dedicate ourselves to something from today onwards and anticipate (and participate in) events within the parish. The community is invited to join us in our 140 year celebration service - the service will start at 8.30 but you will need to come early to get a car park.
When: November 15 2009
Where
:St James Toowoomba (Cnr Russell & Mort Streets)

CDA today - Celebrate Dedicate Anticipate
You can follow the adventures of 150 people in our diocese as they lead us through the gospel and their lives, all for free. Each day a new person will be featured on the website with a devotional paragraph designed to get to the heart of a lectionary reading for the day. The 'CDA today' project is an online devotional program coordinated by your Ministry Education Commission that celebrates our diocese as we count down 150 days to the consecration of the completed St John's Cathedral on the 29th of October .
