Week of Prayer for Christian Unity:

Opening service (hosted by Anglicans) for the Week of Prayer has been organised by Bishop Rob Nolan

This year marks the 100th Anniversary of the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity - from its small beginnings in America, it has become a worldwide tradition. Christian curches in Toowoomba have enjoyed strong relations for many years and will celebrate together by holding prayer meetings at various churches in the city.

Christian meditation sessions: Prayer of Prayers

commencing Monday 28 April @ St James - 2.30-3.30pm. All are welcome and invited.
These practical sessions will learn about and explore different forms of Christian meditation. Facilitator: Jo Anderson (4633 2081).


FUN DAY Cricket Match & Sausage Sizzle:

Yes, it's on again! Sunday 25 May @ St Annes - 11.30am onwards. All age groups!
Sausage sizzle and canned drinks available for sale. Please come along and make this a fun day for all our Parish family.

Parish AMS Bus Trip: Organised by the parish AMS (Anglican Mens Society) group, the trip will take in St. John's Cathedral, Mission to Seafarers and Port of Brisbane.

Historic Plum Pine @ St James: John Wrench, from All Saints Parish at Chermside, will be collecting some of the fruit from the 100+yr old Plum Pine on the corner of Mort & Russell Streets. He is associated with the group "Bush Foods" and will give a talk about how to use the Plum Pine Fruit to make various foods. Time and date to be advised - stay tuned!
